Levan is a restaurant in Peckham serving contemporary European dishes, inspired by the ‘bistronomy’ movement and our favourite eateries in Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Stockholm and Berlin.

Levan serves seasonal and inventive food in a relaxed setting in the heart of Peckham, just off Rye Lane, moments from Peckham overground station. With an open kitchen, counter seating and a cosy dining room, the food, drinks and service has a distinctly contemporary European feel.

We also have Bar Levan next door which is a cosy wine bar, bistro and shop serving natural wine and food from Tuesday to Saturday. Head to their website and instagram for more info.

Open lunch and dinner, we serve an à la carte menu and 6 course chefs menu: a tasting menu of our favourite dishes. There is good balance of meat and fish alongside vegetarian / plant based dishes, as well as an enticing selection of snacks and smaller dishes to enjoy with drinks.

Wine & drinks

Our wine list is a love affair with the grape juice of France, Italy, Spain and Germany and their close neighbours. We work with a carefully selected range of quality, low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines from small artisanal producers. Along with a healthy penchant for the wines of Jura, through our list we explore terroir, sense of place and the exciting range of varietal differences that the wine world offers us today.  Our cocktails and beers are also tied into this vinous ethos, with ale aged in wine barrels and spiritous aperitifs that look like wine.
